First trend we’re seeing is florals… groundbreaking I know (insert eyeroll). Alright, we’re going to get a little more in-depth than that. We obviously know that florals are huge for spring, and they still are, but we’re going to take a look at a few more that are new this season. Honestly, I cannot wait for the weather to warm up so I can start wearing some of these.
Colors
I’ve been seeing two veryyy different color palettes this upcoming spring. Both of them are pretty exciting if you ask me!
One palette is bold and bright. The color of the year is “Living Coral”, so you can expect lots of shades of coral in prints and solids. Other colors in this palette are bright, orangey reds, hot pink, earthy greens and deep mango. Basically spring/summer colors are giving me major tropical vibes. Like, I need to book a Caribbean trip STAT.
Personally, I’m mostly looking forward to wearing green from this palette. It just seems so fresh after all the neutrals, purples and mustards of this past fall/winter. I’ve already started adding little splashes of this color to my wardrobe. Think ivory and green stripes. Prints mixed with bright greens. It’s easy to add touches of green in accessories such as scarves and handbags.
The other palette I’m seeing is made up of neutrals and dusty colors. Not necessarily pastels, but dustier tones of our favorite blushes, lavenders, rusts and blues. Honestly, these are colors we would expect to see in late summer/early fall, but I kind of love how they’re being used for spring. This is a great palette if you usually stick to black, white and grey. Try mixing your basics up with a dusty sage or dusty rose. These colors are gorgeous on anyone and pack enough punch without being too flashy.
My fav from this palette? It’s hard to choose, but I’m a sucker for dusty rose. I love how unexpected this color is for spring. It’s like the color blush has an edgier, sexy cousin that just rolled into town. She’s lady-like, but also the girl dancing on the bar at your bachelorette party. I’d like to be that girl, anyone else?
I’ve linked a few of my favorites from this palette below!
Prints
It looks like animal prints are going to continue into spring. However, if you were wild (lolz) about leopard, start getting jazzed about snakeskin. Snakeskin is the next evolution of this trend. Classic leopard seemed to be the most popular in fall/winter, but don’t be afraid to have a little fun with your snakeskin prints. Think fun colors and basically every way you can think of i.e. shoes, handbags, bodysuits, swimsuits, pants… the list could go on and on.

Another print that’s showing up is tie dye. Anyone else tie dye shirts as a camp activity when they were young? I cannot believe this has made a comeback! However, instead of the harsh, bright, messy tie dye of my youth, this print is represented in an ultra chic way. Try to stray away from bright primary colors, it makes the trend very elementary. Instead, stick to pastels and two/three colors at most. It helps keep this trend a little more sophisticated.
You’re going see this trend represented in more casual/lounge wear. Throw on a tie dye t-shirt and run to the store. Or at the beach, use a fun tie dye dress as a coverup. This will definitely be a spring/summer trend, but we’ll have to see how long it stays. While it’s here though, have some fun!
See my picks below.
Fringe
The last trend I want to talk about is fringe. We saw a little bit of this in fall, but it’s back for spring! This is always a fun trend because you can represent it in so many different ways. It can be on a skirt, dress, or jacket and really make a statement. Or you can touches of it through your accessories. Fringe is always fun on a purse or as tassel earrings as well.
My number one item on my shopping list is a suede or leather fringe jacket. They can sometimes have too much of a western feel, but I would love to pair it with some edgier items. I’m on the lookout for a great, affordable piece!
See my favorite tassel picks below.
A few other great tassel earring options are from Jam + Rico. Lisette, the creator and founder, favors bold and bright colors inspired by the Caribbean and Latin America. I own several of her pieces and each one is unique and so much fun! I always get compliments whenever I wear them.
Shop the kingston earring (left), shop the Vinales horseshoe earring.
I would love to hear how you explore these spring trends! Which one are you most excited about? I think the color palettes look very fresh and new – I can’t wait to add some items to my closet in these new hues.

Thank you for reading and keep exploring!
