Roses Are Red

February.

It’s here and holds one of the most contentious holidays.

Valentine’s Day can be argued as a “Hallmark Holiday” or a “fake” holiday. Others see it as a day to show someone special in your life some extra love and to celebrate that bond . Either way, it’s February and it’s here!

Whether you’re celebrating with someone special or hanging out with all your girls, below are some outfit ideas to make this holiday go by a little smoother.

This adorable polka dot dress (I’m wearing it in the main photo) is so cute for a casual Valentine’s Day dinner. I love the striped ribbed cuff; it adds an unexpected sporty element to an otherwise feminine dress. Since I own this, I can vouch for how comfortable it is! Easy to go from desk to dinner this Thursday.

Keeping with the polka dot theme, here’s a sexy midi with front ruching. I love how the ruching down the middle helps show off curves. If you’ve got
it – flaunt it! I’m also really into midi lengths lately. They’re quickly becoming my favorite dress/skirt length. Don’t be afraid to go long… it’s still sexy!

Going in a more traditional direction, this floral mini dress is so sweet! It’s currently in my shopping cart as we speak. I love how fresh the pink ground color looks with the red flowers. Accessorize this with red earrings (like the model) and a red clutch. Cute date night outfit done! If you’re in colder climates, throw on a faux fur or motorcycle jacket (if you want to toughen it up).

Another traditional red dress, but the ruffles make it so flirty. This dress is everything because you can wear heels and make it sexy or you can throw on sneakers for a more casual look. This one’s pretty versatile, which is always a good thing. I’d wear this for a hot night out on the town, but then be able to recycle it later with sneakers, a backpack and sunnies for a casual brunch look.

I loveee this blouse. Everything about it is hot. Hot pink. Low neckline. Tuck it into jeans or a mini skirt and you’re about to rock that Galentine’s Day party. Also a versatile top; wear it out to a bar, wear it to brunch, wear it while you’re sitting at home. Doesn’t matter – wherever you wear it, you’re guaranteed to look and feel smoking hot!

I hope some of these outfit ideas inspire you to have a little fun this Valentine’s Day! I’m catching a movie this Valentine’s Day with the girls and my bf and I are celebrating the following day. So excited to spread the love this year! Whatever your plans are, have fun and know that you’re loved!

Thank you for reading and keep exploring!
