Ok, I rounded up my favorite red lipsticks a few years ago, so I thought I’d update that with some new shades + a few other colors. Red isn’t a requirement on V-Day, right? Let’s think outside the box!

1. Hourglass – Glossy Balm
Ok, so if you’re on TikTok I’m sure you’ve seen this product blow up. I’m here to tell you that it’s the real deal. This formula kind of blows my mind with how creamy, glossy and pigmented it is. I’m wearing the shade “Slip”, which is a pretty, pinky nude. This product is on the pricier side, but I’ve worn it almost every day this week. It’s so easy to apply and I just purchased it in a second shade!
2. Tower28 Beauty – Lip Jelly + Lip Liner
I just recently started trying Tower28 Beauty products and I have to say, so far I love them! This lip combo is so easy to wear. I would say that you don’t necessarily need the lip liner, but I also don’t wear lip liner often. If you love that extra definition, then the color “Draw Me” complements the shade “Cashew” so well! I also picked up their new mascara and ya’ll… I’m in love. I will for sure be re-buying it! Gives just the right amount of definition and volume for everyday wear.
3. L’Oreal – Colour Riche
The shade “Divine Wine” is a beautiful brownish wine color. Once again this is something that I can see myself wearing daily. It’s subtle but still pigmented enough to make a statement. I paired this with Maybelline Colorsensational Lip Liner in 153 Divine Wine for a more defined look.
4. Valentino – Rossi Matte Lipstick
Ok, ok I know it’s Valentino and this is so bougie. I kind of lost my mind when I went to buy it, but it is a perfect brick red shade. No lie. I loveddd my Clinique lipstick in Chianti that was discontinued. This Valentino one is a little lighter, but still so gorgeous! This is for sure a splurge, but it is limited edition and a gorgeous color if you’re looking for a red that you can wear every day! Also, one of my 2023 goals is to indulge in more “little luxuries,” so this checks that box haha.
5. Colourpop – Lippie Stix
I have been loving Colourpop for a few years now and this shade “Trust Me” is stunning! This lipstick is very easy to apply and lasts for a while. I’ve worn this to work and definitely needed to reapply it throughout the day. However, I would say it fades vs wears off if that makes sense haha. You won’t be left with a lipliner look as it fades, which is always a fear of mine!
6. Pat McGrath – LiquiLust
Last, but not least – this gorgeous deep red shade (*insert heart eyes). I definitely recommend lipliner with this one because your lips need to be crisp for the full effect. LiquiLust is a liquid lipstick that will last alllll night long! I wore this shade for NYE and it did not disappoint!
