Travel Skincare Essentials

We all know that traveling (esp. on planes) can dry out your skin. I know that when I’m on a trip, my skin behaves differently than when I’m at home. And while all we want is to enjoy our vacation, breakouts or flakey skin can really put a damper on our plans…

But, don’t worry, I’ve found the solution! Here are a few skincare essentials I brought with me on my recent trip to Paris. I wanted to achieve glowy, hydrated skin and these products helped a ton!

  1. Herbivore – Lapis Oil
I’ve said it a million times and I’ll say it again… the amount of hydration this oil gives my skin is incredible. Whenever my face starts feeling super dry, splotchy, or uneven, I know it’s time to break this out. It’s a bit of an investment, but honestly one of the best products I’ve ever used. They have smaller tester bottles too if you aren’t ready to splurge yet! Bonus: it’s clean + cruelty-free!

2. SkinPharm – Youth Serum
This serum is basically an all-in-one product. It tackles dull skin, fine lines, wrinkles & hyperpigmentation. If you’re looking to take only a few products when you travel, this multi-tasking hyaluronic serum is a must!

3. Herbivore – Nova Vitamin C & Brightening Serum
Throw the new Herbivore Nova Serum in your bag to help brighten your skin after hours of travel. This product is great for targeting dark spots and uneven, dull skin texture. I’ve found that this is a great addition to my Herbivore collection – plus, it’s clean + cruelty-free!

4. CocoKind – Glow Essence
Another great product for hydration is CocoKind’s Glow Essence Spray. I start off with this product each morning and the glow it brings is incredible! It helps improve elasticity, suppleness and maximizes absorption of all the products used after. Honestly, one of my favorite products & have re-bought it multiple times. I also loveee this company in general! They’re super transparent with all of their products and the line is so affordable.

5. Well People – Eye Gel-Cream
You can’t skip those undereyes while on vacation, so make sure you throw in Well People’s Gel-Cream. This is a lightweight formula that helps hydrate and brighten skin. It takes care of any dullness or fine lines around your eye area. This is the first product I’ve tried from Well People and so far, I like it! I’m picky about eye creams, but I’ve noticed a difference with this one! Bonus: affordable + cruelty-free!

6. Summer Fridays – Lip Butter Balm
Last, but not least, you gotta hydrate those lips! Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm is going to be a life-saver on that long flight. This balm is hydrating and plumping, plus it leaves a beautiful shine. I love that glosses are back in style! It’s a little pricier, but a great product IMO. Plus, vegan + clean!
