Fall Activities in Nashville

Fall is amongst us and it’s going by SUPER fast! I cannot believe we are already halfway through October! Honestly, with quarantine and just 2020 in general, it’s like time drags on but also disappears. Not sure how, but 2020 is definitely an enigma.

There is still time to check out some fall and Halloween inspired activities though! And with Covid, these are social distancing friendly as well!

Cheekwood Harvest

Sept 19, 2020 – Nov 1, 2020
I went to Cheekwood last year (still hope to visit this year) and had the best time! The grounds themselves are gorgeous – just strolling around is worth it. There are pumpkins galore (like pumpkin housesss) and plenty of mums to buy. There was also a band and food/drinks last year. (Not sure if that part is happening this year though.) In addition to all the fall activities, they also have the Chihuly Exhibit going on! I’m definitely hoping to make there this year! Important note – you must reserve your tickets online – they won’t be selling them on-site this year due to Covid!

Boo at the Zoo

Select dates in October
I haven’t been to the Nashville Zoo yet, but I hear great things! Every year they throw Boo at the Zoo and it looks like a spooktacular (lolol) time for the whole family! This year, they are making sure all activities are socially distanced, but still worth the trip!

Here are some of the activities you can expect:
Pumpkin Town photo opps
10 trick-or-treat stations for kids
Haymaze
Monster Mash dance area
Scary-Go-Round carousel
Plus seeing all the animals!

Grab your tickets ahead of time as there are staggered entry times and capacity requirements. Check out dates and tickets here!

Nashtober Fest

October 24th, 2020
This year’s Nashtober Fest will include over a dozen local breweries, Daddy’s Dogs (omg yum), yard games and more! Tickets are very limited due to Covid, so if you want to join in on the fun, buy now! They are taking social distancing measures and it’s outside at Richland Park, so everything should be safe, just remember to bring your mask! Runs from 2:00 – 5:00 and tickets start at $60. Find more info here!

Shuckles Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch at Fiddle Dee Farms

September 26, 2020 – November 7, 2020
This one is a little outside Nashville, but only about a 30 minute ride! You’ll find everyyy fall activity you’ve ever wanted here. They’ve got a huge corn maze, hayride, pumpkin decorating, teeter totters, bonfires, etc. SO MANY OPTIONS! There are so many activities for the whole family. You need to check it out for a fun-filled fall day! Find more info here!

Pumpkin Patches

Lastly, it’s not too late to hit up a few pumpkin patches this weekend! Go ahead, grab the family and buy some pumpkins to carve, paint or just set out on the porch!
The Flying Ghost Pumpkin Patch (located on White Bridge Road)
The Nashville Pumpkin Company (located on 12 South)

I hope you have fun doing whatever fall activities you have planned this weekend! Let me know if you check any of these out!

xoxo,
Katelynn Ann
