Shop Small, Big Impact

I think we’ve all been doing a little more online shopping as of late… or is that only me? While I’ve been trying to keep my shopping habits under control, (these sales lately are no joke), when I do decide to hit that purchase button, I want it to make a difference. During this crazy time, every dollar spent makes a difference. That’s why I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite small businesses to support! If you shop small, you can have a big impact!

Barefoot Blonde

I’ve been a hugeeee fan of Amber’s for years now. I love watching her family grow and travel – they always go to the most gorgeous places! I’m always so amazed that their family can travel with 3 little ones! She also does the most amazing hair tutorials. So, when I saw that she was starting her Barefoot Blonde Hair extension line years ago, I was so excited for her. She puts so much thought and care into her products and really wants the best for her customers. She also recently launched Dae, which is a haircare line. I’m so excited to see where her companies will go in the future! If you’re in the market for hair extensions or a new hair routine, check out one of her amazing companies! I’m wearing the full set in the first pic below and the fill-in set in the third.

Clutter

A women owned small business that’s sure to bring cheer to your home! If you’re so tired of the same old, same old in your living room or bedroom, check out this company. Sarah, the owner, makes the most gorgeous pillows by hand. The thought and care she puts into each piece is amazing. I purchased the Casablanca Oblong to add a little extra style to my bedding. Made from gorgeous ivory material, with hand-tied tassels and gold embroidery, this pillow makes me smile every time I make my bed (which has actually happened each morning, believe it or not). A percentage of each pillow’s proceeds goes towards No Kid Hungry, which is just another thing I love about this company. She’s also recently added vintage items and candles to her site as part of her April Refresh (I’ve bought the Calm candle and I loveee).

Nudestix

Another women owned brand that I’ve been following for years is Nudestix. From the get-go, their marketing has been on point, but what’s even more impressive is the product itself. They create their products with the idea that we’re all unique and beautiful in own way, so why cake on makeup to cover that up? Loveee. These products are meant to accentuate your beauty, not cover it up. All of their products are easy-to-use, cruelty-free and can be used multiple ways, which makes getting ready a breeze. I feel like I’ve bought the majority of their products (haha) so rest assured when I tell you they’re the real deal! Most recent obsession: Nudies Blooms Stick in Salty Siren. Absolutely a game-changer!

Lively

I’ve been an ambassador for Lively for over 2 years now, so I’ve tested out a ton of their products. This women run business has been changing the game when it comes to marketing and building a brand. Not only are their bras comfortable, but they have fair pricing across all sizes and have been rolling out multiple nude shades. Not just a lingerie company, they’ve expanded to swimsuits and loungewear in the past few years. A few of my favorites styles: long-lined lace bralette, all-day stripe bralette, the t-shirt bra, and the kimono. They also frequently have cute GWP, so keep your eyes peeled for those!

CocoKind

This is a recent find for me, but I love CocoKind’s products! This is a clean, eco-friendly brand that is at an accessible price-point. I have to say I’ve been veryyy impressed with the products I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a lot since the price is right)! They do a great job of explaining what each product will do and how to use it. Some of my favorite products are: resurfacing sleep mask (seriously, if you buy only one product, buy this one), glow essence, and golden elixir. I’m eager to try the celery duo next!

QuinoHome

Based in Dover, New Hampshire, Nicole’s brand, QuinoHome, has a little something for everyone. Nicole started her brand because she fell in love with making resin art. Her first few products included coasters and trinket trays. She’s since then expanded into fun, colorful signs and fabric masks. Let me tell you, all her products are beautifulllll! Nicole is wickedly talented and puts her heart into every product she hand makes. I’ve purchased her coasters, a tray and pencil holder, so I can tell you from experience, her products are just as gorg in real life! Check out some detail photos below!

The Good Fill

This is a company I’ve recently discovered and I love their concept! Their products are sustainable and fair trade, designed to show us that we can use everyday products in a responsible way. You should really check out the owner’s story on why she founded the company – it’s truly eye-opening! I know I personally struggle with waste and wanting new, new, new. But, I’m hoping that I can change my mindset with the help of companies like The Good Fill. Another thing I love is that you can order refills for certain products and mail back the refill pouch. Just another way we can reduce and reuse!
